Singapore Architecture

When  talking  about  the  technology  can  architecture be  left behind? Singapore is  home to different architectural patterns. It is  a cosmopolitan  city and has a number of  high  rises  and  buildings  that  are  made  following different styles  and patterns. Different  technologies, architectural patterns as well as  influences  have worked  together  to  create  some of the  monumental  buildings in  Singapore.  A thorough study of the buildings in Singapore can give you a detailed idea about the architecture in Singapore and its different periods.

The architecture of Singapore showcases a range of influences as well as styles from various places and periods. The influence and style range from the eclectic styles to contemporary architecture. There are some buildings that are built following hybrid forms of the colonial period.  In the contemporary buildings you can also see the tendency to incorporate all the architectural trends from across the world. If you judge the buildings in Singapore by its architectural patterns you will get  to see three distinct styles.  They are more traditional pre-World War II colonial period, and the largely modern post-war and post-colonial period.

If you  have  some interest about architecture  and love to  see  monuments  and buildings  in different architectural pattern  then  you are sure to have a great time in Singapore. There  are several  iconic  buildings  in Singapore  that  still  bear the  architectural pattern  of  the colonial  period  prior to the World War.  Some of the buildings  which  are built after  World War II has  a different  architectural pattern.  Once Singapore became an  independent nation a number of modern  architectural  wonders  are created  in this city state.  These  buildings  are as much  a  work of  art  as  it is a fine  example modern technology.  You  can see plenty of modern  architecture in the Lion City.
